NEWS FLASH! Bristol International Kite Festival is back for 2015 with new dates and a new location. Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August on Bristol’s Durdham Downs.
Bring the family along and enjoy an amazing sky full of colour with giant special-shaped 3D animals, mock aerial combat with traditional Japanese fighting kites, synchronised sport kite team routines flown to music and awesome power kites.
Meanwhile on the ground there will be fantastic air creations, spectacular displays of artistic banners and flags and even a wind orchestra. There’s plenty for children to enjoy with kite-making workshops and craft activities as well as giant bouncy castles and other attractions.
Chill out and watching the experts performing in the arenas, or bring along your own kite to fly nearby.
The Festival will also be playing an active role in supporting the Bristol 2015 Green Capital City celebrations.
